Started making music since?

Music lessons as a kid on recorder, organ, keyboard, piano. Later on followed a saxophone course.

First performance(s)?

During school-performances and as a keyboard player in schoolbands.

Why started making music?

Because various family members and friends were actively making music, it was a logical step to start doing something with music too.

His style


What is his personal music taste?

R&B/Soul (especially 80’s/90’s/00’s), Lounge, Smooth Jazz, Chillout, Deep House, Reggae.

What can he do, next to composing, as a live musician?

In (allround) bands he is a freelance keyboard player, with lots of focus on sound-design and sound-editing. As a keyboard player he creates his own workable scale model of the musical reality. He can work as the main keyboard player, and also together with other keyboard players in a band.

In addition to playing the keyboards he can also play saxophone for solo’s or additional parts in music. This may give another total sound to the band.


How can his own instrumentental music best be described?

Peaceful and relaxing. It let’s you feel that it’s okay to enjoy your own way of life, and that everything/everyone has an own beauty. This is done by melodies, mainly played on keys/saxophone, flowing on his own beats and grooves.

Styles: Various Lounge music album series like Cafe del Mar, Bhudda Bar, R&B/Soul (oldskool), Smooth Jazz.
